Counting Down til Christmas Break...

Don't get me wrong... I love my class, I love teaching, I love my fifth graders and honestly I will worry about them the entire break. But I am really ready for a few days of being at home with my husband and dog. Then again, I am not looking forward to the running around and the sadness that comes with the Holidays. I lost my grandparents this year and have been extremely sad by this. I am looking forward to being with Family and Friends but not having to celebrate without those very important people to me! Please keep me and your family in your prayers! Well Anyways I need to finish my christmas decorating! I promise to post pitcures soon!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Happy Thanksgiving! I am so thankful for my many blessings that I have in my life! My husband is my rock. He brings be back to earth and calms and comforts me! I am so blessed to have him in my life. I also am so blessed to have my mom and dad. They have supported me and my husband through so much and I am just happy to have them. Also I have some of the best friends a girl could ask for! I am so lucky to get to do a job that I truly enjoy! I have a wonderful class of students who amazing me daily!

I know that it has been a while! I have already decorated my tree and my house!! I just could not wait! I am almost done Christmas shopping too!! I love to shop!! I can't control myself!! Whether buying for myself or others! I just love to shop!!

Hey!

So its been a little bit!! I just wanted to say that I am on Fall Break!! SO I am going to enjoy it. I need to clean my house, my room at school, groom my dog, and work in the yard. That is how I plan to spend my time!!

A few weekends ago, my bestie came home from SC and we went to eat lunch at La Siesta!! Its was good. I miss her!!!

What a year....

Ok.. So its been a little bit. I am trying to get my feet back under me since school has started. For those of you who know me really well you understand how tough this year has been. First my grandfather lost his 6 year battle with cancer. He did it with such faith that it was hard to be sad about losing him. Then in July, my nanny was taken from us. She went to heaven to be with her true love. Well... today I found out that a friend of mine killed himself. Its not that we were so close anymore. Its just that we used to be. Our brothers played baseball together. That makes you family. You go on vacations together and everything. He had a tough few years and just gave up. I don't know how much more of this I can handle. I miss my grandparents more and more everyday. Its hard to even make anyone understand. My grandfathers birthday would have been tomorrow and I miss him!! Plain and simple! I miss them both.

Update on me....

So I have been a little busy this past week and have not had the time or the energy to post anything. 5th grade is good. I am working my tail off trying to keep my head above water. I feel like everything is piled on!! So anyways... We may have sold my Nanny and Grandad's house. Its a good thing with the market the way it is. The house is completely empty now! It is really sad when you start to think about that but oh well. Brett moved away to college. He seems to be enjoying it. We will see on Monday when he starts classes and his busy schedule catches up with him!! Oh well I have papers to grade!!!

My first week has been really long! I really have enjoyed my class. I am just so tired. I am not used to being on my feet and having to make decisions all day long!!!

Chad and I are good! Its really different with both of us working and being at home at the same time! I am working on figuring out how to get some pictures of my classroom posted! I just have to find my plug in somewhere in my house!
